Our Mission
The Matt McElfresh Memorial Scholarship fund has been established by the
McElfresh family and the Adams County Sheriff’s Department to honor Matt’s
belief that law enforcement is not only a career, but a calling. By combining
Matt’s love of children and his passion for law enforcement, this fund will
assist local students in their endeavor to pursue a secondary education in law
enforcement.
Fundraising Events
1st Annual Matt McElfresh Memorial Fund 5K
Run/Walk and Wiffleball Tournament
The event will take place June 19th at the
Eagles Club. The cost is $25 a person for the 5K Run/Walk and $60 per four person wiffleball team. Contact Rich Wagner (217-440-8871) or Sam Smith
(217-440-8859) for registration or questions. All money raised
goes to the Matt McElfresh
Scholorship fund through John Wood Community College. Come out and have
a good time.
